We have been in a very dry Summer season compared to last year where it constantly rained.
We pray for rain as the gardens have been very dry for about three weeks and though we can water the garden, it is not so easy for the farmers.
Last year, my hubby gave up farming due to the wet Spring planting and late planting season resulting in poor harvest. Yesterday, hubby and a friend baled hay but after the first cutting, the fields remain dry with a thirst for rain. It may result in just one hay cutting.
My flowers continue to bloom and we're thankful for the water hoses.
There is no rain forcast in the near week...
Just tired out

Baling hay and the day lillies are still blooming despite the dry hot weather
The sunflowers are starting to bloom
