We started at Ellis Island, Liberty Park, New Jersey and got ferry tickets to visit Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.
Approaching Ellis Island, feeling sort of like the the immigrants years ago as they passed here to America.
We spent over an hour reading the exhibits inside.
Then we preceded to the ferry to the next stop, The Statue of Liberty.
We ate lunch at the cafe' and then went for a tour inside and was able to climb up the steps to the base of her feet.
We then got back on the ferry to return to the Liberty Park.
Here is the NYC skyline and in the distance, you can see the blue building where the crane is
'One World Trade Center' (where the Twin Towers once stood)
This memorial if you look up the lanes of stripes of grass, you would have seen the Twin Towers.
We drove into NYC to see the Ground Zero and the progress to build the new 'One World Trade Center'
The 'Seven' World Trade Center'
It was a long day at New Jersey and New York.
