Just when we thought Winter was almost over, a second Nor'Easter hit the North East within a week.
The first Nor'Easter was February 6th, about 12". (The picture with the 'stop' sign is from the Feb 6th storm)
The second Nor'Easter was about 19.8"
The snow started about 7PM on 2-9-2010 and ended about 9pm on 2-10-2010.
Of course with the winds, drifting made it seem more than the 2 feet.
Schools closed Wednesday and Thursday.
With Teachers' inservice on Friday and Holiday on Monday, its a 6 day weekend off. But snow make up will be made in June.
I am waiting for Spring, maybe the first crocus' and daffodills will show themselves in March or early April !
