Let's bring in the New Year !It's time for reminising.
The kids are getting older, smarter and happy just being 'themselves'.
Here is the the 'faces' on New Year's eve - playing spoons and watching the ball fall seems like excitement when it's a cold Winter night outside. It just keeps getting colder.
21*F today(1-2-2010) and the winds howling making it feel like in the teens or maybe even like a negative number.
Here are my kids painting the final layer to the closet and the bedroom is finished in time before the 31st, perfect timing! Thanks to their Uncle too for his expertise.

We always enjoy hearing the violins playing and (My son starting tenor saxaphone, 2009, makes for more music) In December we attended three nights of concerts , orchestra and chorus, fun to watch and listen.

The year has come and gone and while it has been a relatively good year, it was a sad time for my Aunt and Uncle (Siwerts) who lost everything in a fire that engulfed their farm house. (11-21-2009) I remember going there as a child and now all that remains there now is the stone structure.
In memory -
Sam, my step father - May 28, 2009
JoJo - August 24, 2009

The New Year hopefully brings us new challenges, hopes and peace,
God Willing - we can only pray, pray and pray.
