The pink is in

Pink is still in and the kids are up to another project.

Hubby built wood frames (designed by my son)
Daughter picked out the color.

Kids are busy painting a few coats on.
(no picture of my daughter as she had a towel on her head)

My son picked out pictures from the web to print out
and they are the background for the frames.
Then did cut out lettering for the box frames.

The day lilies are almost done blooming,
with the heat I am amazed they lasted this long.
But we are watering them everyday.

The canas are starting to bloom and there is a reddish stink bug?

My first cantaloupe, lets hope the deer don't discover this fruit
as they have been nibbling on the tomatoes before I get to them.
I picked a cucumber earlier this week.
Next year, we plan to put up an electric fence to ward off the hungry deer.
Since we have no corn in the crib anymore, they have discovered my garden. Bahhhah!

And finally, my son said he wanted banana bread this afternoon.
We only had two over ripen bananas and son made 1/2 recipe all by himself
from scratch to make one loaf size.
